Assistance League® of Northern Virginia is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that transforms lives and strengthens communities through its Operation School Bell programs which serve more than 6,000 at-risk students each year. Weekend Food for Kids, New Clothing for Kids and Reading Express provide basic food, clothing and individualized tutoring to enable children to achieve their full potential and succeed in school. Additionally, our Hugs program provides heart-shaped pillows and small toys to comfort children undergoing difficult medical procedures. We strive to sustain and expand our philanthropic programs to meet the changing needs of the communities we serve.
