Centreville Labor Resource Center

The goal is to enhance the quality of life for immigrants in the region of Centreville VA. The mission is to build strong community, improving the health and safety of the community; provide immigrants with tools to improve their own lives; improve communication and cooperation among all groups serving low-income immigrants; and build community recognition of the strength in the community's diversity. The primary project of the Centreville Immigration Forum is the Labor Resource Center. Its mission is to provide a safe, organized center where homeowners and contractors can negotiate fair work arrangements with day laborers and laborers can build the skills they need to support themselves and their families.

CLRC can provide a series of classes in plumbing or electrical assistance, to a new immigrant worker.
CLRC can provide a training class for women in new job skills, including "green cleaning."
CLRC can advertise workers skills to new employers.
