MVLE, Inc.'s mission is focused on creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and military veterans. Last year, MVLE served over 450 individuals through employment and support services in our local community. MVLE partners with over 125 business, government and community partners to provide employment and support services for our clients. Together, we work to assist our clients on their journey to independence, while providing valuable staffing solutions for our partners. We all aspire to be independent and have careers that we are passion about. MVLE works to make this a reality for individuals that might otherwise not have these opportunities. Whether you are looking for your first job or returning from military service, MVLE takes an individualized approach to foster personal and professional growth for all of our clients. In 2015 MVLE, a Northern Virginia nonprofit, partnered with BodyWise Dance to create the MVLE Moves! dance-movement therapy program for individuals with disabilities. This program is designed to enrich the lives of MVLE’s clients and staff through movement classes, staff training, and arts partnership development. This year, MVLE Moves! was excited to debut its inaugural performance, ‘Everyday Oz’. ‘Everyday Oz’ is a family-friendly performance that partners MVLE individuals with professional performers. Equal parts zany and poetic, ‘Everyday Oz’ includes active audience participation to reveal the ways that we are smart, compassionate, brave, and creative…every day! 'Everyday Oz' was performed at MVLE's Community Centers, Fairfax County Government Center, the USO at Ft. Belvoir, and The Kennedy Center. MVLE Moves! is looking forward to planning for our next performance project and we need your support! Funds from our 2017 Do More 24 campaign will go to support the MVLE Moves! program and our annual performance project!
