Something as simple as a bus ride can be the difference between a SEM learner attending class or work, or living another day without self-sufficiency. Your gift provides much needed transit help for low-income individuals attending literacy and GED preparation classes at SEM or rides to work for our job readiness graduates.
Access to information technology (IT) is not a luxury, it is key to improving the educational and economic prospects of Southeast Ministry learners. Your gift helps us purchase the equipment and maintain the infrastructure so that our learners have access and support.
Getting a job is great until the supervisor says you need an ID card, text book, a uniform, a pair of work boots or tools. It takes more than just getting a job; it takes being equipped for that job. For people who have few resources, being sent out prepared for the job is as vital as getting the job. Your gift would help our learners be equipped for jobs and job interviews.
