Something as simple as a bus ride can be the difference between a Southeast Ministry learner attending class and/or work. This gift provides much-needed transit help for low-income individuals attending literacy and GED preparation classes or for job-readiness graduates commuting to work.
Getting a job is great until the hiring manager says you need a uniform, work boots, tools or even that new hire paperwork requires a checking account for direct deposit. This gift equips Southeast Ministry participants with items necessary for their jobs, moving them on a path to self-sufficiency.
Access to information technology (IT) is not a luxury, it is key to improving the educational and economic prospects of Southeast Ministry learners. Your gift helps us purchase the equipment and maintain the infrastructure so that our learners have access and support.
A gift of $240 helps support tutoring for those learners whose needs are best met in a smaller setting than our regular classroom setting.
A gift of $480 would go towards helping us renovate our aging facility. We look forward to being a space that is brighter and more welcoming for the people we serve and efficient for our staff.
