City Choir of Washington
The City Choir of Washington (TCCW) celebrated its 10th Anniversary Season this fall under the baton of Robert Shafer, poised to begin his 50th year as a choral conductor in the DC area. As one of Washington, DC’s premiere choral organizations, TCCWs mission is to perform a wide range of choral music at the highest artistic level, inspiring and educating singers, audience members, and the next generation of musicians and composers. The City Choir, while engaging in community outreach and partnerships to expand audiences, also strives to responsibly manage a strong, professional organization of staff and volunteers to sustain TCCW well into the future.
