Wacif is a nonprofit community loan fund that empowers underserved communities and individuals in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We create economic opportunity by providing access to capital and technical assistance to small businesses, childcare centers, affordable housing developers, and community organizations in and serving low-to-moderate income communities.

$24 would help us provide 5 low-to-moderate income, local small business owners with Wacif's "Small Business Toolkit - A Guide to Business Success". This provides the business owner with a step-by-step guide to help them start or grow their small business and is filled with best practices, how-to articles and more.
A donation of $48 would give an under-served small business owner two hours of free, specialized business counseling from one of our experienced business experts - providing them with pro bono legal, marketing, financial advice and more!
$96 would give a start-up low-to-moderate income entrepreneur a better chance at receiving the financing they need by having a Wacif Loan Officer perform a thorough financial needs assessment and loan packaging to give them the best chance for financing.
$240 would allow us to review a new loan for a local entrepreneur to open their dream business
$480 will give numerous small business owners the chance to pitch their business to our local loan officers to receive financing
